Breakfast Team

Provides breakfast to the Worship & Production team on Sunday mornings, who volunteer from 6:30am–1pm.

Commitment
  • Times: Deliver (or have breakfast ready) by 9–9:30am Sunday mornings.

Auditorium Usher

Helps welcome people into church and guides them to their seats, stepping in to make sure everyone feels at ease and settled comfortably.

Containers

One of the first impressions at District — connects a guest to their next steps, gets first-time families checked in, and answers questions.

Greeters

The heart of the District experience — a new guest's first encounter is most likely with you, so this team's main goal is to be welcoming.

Parking Team Lead

Directs the Parking Team to facilitate cars and traffic flow, making sure everyone is in the right place and communicating clearly.

Parking Team Member

Facilitates cars and traffic flow for efficient arrivals and departures, providing hospitality at a guest's first touch point.

Coffee Attendant

Assists with prepping the coffee carts, helping with payments and keeping things clean and welcoming.

Team Leader

Oversees our coffee cart team, guiding operations and safety/hygiene standards while mentoring team members in customer service and teamwork.

Campus Clean Up & Maintenance

Gets and keeps our campus Sunday-ready — prepping the morning of, checking restrooms after each service, and catching issues as they arise.

Thursday Landscape Crew

Comes in every Thursday for landscape projects and grounds maintenance — trimming trees, watering plants, and more.

Builds & Trades Team

An on-call roster of people with trade skills (electricians, carpenters, etc.) willing to put them to work as projects arise.

Sunday Safety Team

Protects the guest experience at District, helping create a safe yet friendly environment so parents know their kids are safe.

Commitment

Weekday Safety Team

Protects the campus for students at The Academy and other weekday events (Family Nights, Youth nights, special events).

Prayer TeamPray for our people!+
Prayer Team

Readily available to pray with people at the end of each service, and throughout the week for requests that come in, holding confidential matters with respect.

  • Times: One service; available toward the end of the scheduled service.
  • Frequency: One or two Sundays a month in person, plus ongoing throughout the week.

Front Desk

Manages our front desk during office hours — a friendly face for guests, answering phones, and helping staff with a variety of projects.

Commitment
  • Times: Two shifts available (Mon–Thu), 9am–12pm and 1–5pm.

IT SupportPut those tech skills to use.+
IT Support

Keeps our church connected, equipped, and running smoothly — maintaining networks, troubleshooting hardware, and supporting our Google Workspace environment.

Kids District

Our Kids District teams dedicate their time to pouring into all ages, from infants to 5th grade.

Nursery (Infant–23 Months)+
Volunteer

Shares the love of Jesus with children and parents — making drop-off easy and fun, and creating a loving environment through play, stories, and smiles.

Commitment
  • Times: One service. Show up 10–15 minutes early, stay until every child is picked up.
  • Frequency: Twice a month, plus occasional Wednesday Family Nights.
  • High School and up.
  • Live Scan required for age 18+.
Room Lead

Oversees volunteers and the drop off/pick-up process, ensuring overall safety and completing room counts.

Commitment
  • Times: One service. Show up 10–15 minutes early, stay until room is reset.
  • Frequency: Twice a month, plus occasional Family Nights.
  • Live Scan required for age 18+.
Toddlers (2s–3s)+
Volunteer

Partners with the Lead Teacher to introduce children to Jesus through worship, Bible stories, and play.

Commitment

  • 6th grade and up.

Check In/Out

Welcomes new and returning families, manages name-tag printing, and handles Check Out at the end of service. Good fit for tech-comfortable, outgoing people.

  • Frequency: One to four times a month.
  • 9th grade and up.
  • No Live Scan required (lobby areas, interacting mainly with adults).
Kids Production/Tech

Runs the Miner's Market store before service, then supports the Lead Teacher by operating lighting, audio, and visual systems. No experience required.

Commitment
  • Times: One service. Show up 20 minutes prior.
  • Frequency: Twice a month.
  • 5th grade and up.
  • Live Scan required for age 18+.
D45 (4th & 5th)+
Volunteer

Hangs out and has fun with 4th and 5th graders — encouraging and challenging them, and assisting the D45 Leader with setup and small group discussions.

Commitment
  • Times: One service (9:15, 10:45, or 12pm). Show up 10–15 minutes early.
  • Frequency: Twice a month preferred, or more.
  • High School age and older.

District HavenSpecial Needs Ministry+
Buddy

Supports students with special needs to participate fully in ministry activities — crafts, worship, and fellowship — as a friend, role model, and partner. Available during the 9:15am & 10:45am services.

  • Frequency: Once or twice a month.
  • Live Scan required for age 18+.

District Youth

Our District Youth teams dive into the lives of students to walk alongside them, point them to Jesus, and help them live out their faith.

SIX786th–8th grade+
Sunday Morning Adult Leader

Facilitates deeper conversation in a small group after the large group message — 5–8 students diving into the lesson with guided questions and scripture.

Commitment
  • Times: One service (9:15, 10:45, or 12pm). Show up 10 minutes prior.

Wednesday Night Adult Leader

Wednesday Night Adult Leader

Creates relationships with students — interacting, praying over them, and engaging in deep conversation when they need guidance. Consistency matters here.

  • Times: Team Huddle at 6:30pm, service starts 7pm.
  • Frequency: Every Wednesday night (except Family Nights).
  • 18 and older.
  • Live Scan required.
Student Leadership Team

Serves peers and shapes the culture of District Youth — setup to teardown, running games and announcements, sharing testimonies, serving Wednesday and Sunday.

Commitment
  • Times: 6pm setup, 6:30pm Huddle, 7pm service, 8:30pm teardown Wednesdays; plus Sunday mornings.
  • Frequency: Weekly.
  • Should be consistently involved in District Youth before applying.

Creative

All of our Creative teams envision and execute everything you see and experience.

Uses instrumental talent to help lead the congregation into God's presence, committed to excellence, teamwork, and a heart of worship.

Commitment
  • Times: All 4 services, including 6:45am Sunday rehearsal.

Vocalist

Leads the congregation in worship with passion and purpose, striving for vocal excellence and unity alongside the musicians.

ProductionMaking everything happen behind the scenes.+
Cameras

Helps capture the worship experience for in-person and online audiences, working with the Production Team on angles. No experience necessary — training provided.

Lighting

Enhances the worship experience with dynamic lighting effects, executing pre-programmed cues with precise timing. Training provided.

Live Stream

Keeps the online community connected by operating the live stream equipment and switching cameras for a smooth broadcast. Training provided.

Pro-Presenter

Ensures lyrics, videos, and visuals display seamlessly during service, supporting worship and teaching for in-person and online audiences. Training provided.

Social Media

Gives a glimpse of what District is like on social platforms — IG story coverage, reel footage, and more. No experience required, just an eye for the moment.

Captures photo and b-roll in and between services to help tell the story of what God is doing through District.
