About this group
We're an established small group of women who love welcoming new friends to our table each semester. We intentionally keep our group small enough to build trust, share honestly, and develop genuine friendships. We begin our evenings with dinner together before diving into our study.
This fall, we'll be studying Jennie Allen's book, The Lies You Don't Know You Believe. We'll read one chapter each week and spend our time together digging into the ideas, exploring what Scripture says, and considering how God's truth intersects with our everyday lives.
This isn't a surface-level study. We want to understand what we're learning and give God room to use it. At times, that means asking hard questions, examining thoughts and beliefs we've carried for years, recognizing patterns that may be shaping us, and learning to replace what isn't true with the truth of God's Word. We bring real life to the table, but we don't want to stay where we are. Together, we're learning to recognize what isn't true, replace it with God's truth, and live differently because of it.
Our group includes women at many different places in their faith journey, from those who are newer to following Jesus to those who have walked with him for years. You don't need to have all the answers or know your way around the Bible. What matters most is a willingness to engage, encourage one another, and allow God's truth to challenge and transform the way we live.
The podcast, Life Reclaimed, grew out of this group, inspired by the honest conversations about faith and real life that began around our table.
If you're looking for genuine community, meaningful study, and a place to go deeper in your faith, we'd love to have you join us. Come pursue Jesus with us, trusting that as we do, he is the one who carries us.
