About this event
This small group provides the opportunity to serve the homeless and needy in our local area. On the first Saturday of each month, we gather at Green Valley Church in Placerville where needy folks from all over the foothills come to pick up groceries from the county food bank. Here we have the opportunity to:
- Provide the 250 guests with a great hot breakfast
- Over 1,000 pieces of clothing are distributed each week!
- Offer a smile and an encouraging word from 50 or more volunteers
There are several ways to serve in this critical mission. Join us the 1st Saturday morning each month for the semester.
