District Haven is the special needs ministry of District Church during the 10:00 and 11:30 Sunday morning services. Our mission is to teach children of all abilities about God’s love. Some of God’s children may need extra help in order to participate in the church environment. Our purpose is to display Christ likeness by partnering students with dedicated, trained staff and student buddies to support participants in embracing their unique role within the church body. We believe that each child is a unique creation of God. We aim to nurture each child’s individual skills and abilities by supporting their individual needs. Our hope is to provide an opportunity for every child to learn about God’s love in a way that is accessible to them and fosters their individual spiritual growth.
