We’re so excited about the future of District Church! This past Sunday we made the exciting announcement that we’re moving District Church to 7000 Rossmore Lane at the end of October to partner together with our friends, Lakehills Church, to bring our strengths together to better go after the mandate Jesus gave to us.

Here’s what you need to know. District is just moving to a new house! We’re going to be District but with this, we’re just going to get stronger and better at reaching people who are far from God!

From the very beginning of District Church, our commitment was to be a Jesus Church. A gathering of His followers connected by our common faith and a deep desire to see our city (and the world) come to know His power and beauty. We believe that the church doesn’t exist for us, but that we are the Church and we exist for the world!

We’re 4 days into 21 Days of Prayer and our hope is that you will join us in praying for this whole transition. Today the focus of prayer is our community and we’re asking that God uses us, His Church, to reach into dark spaces.

Jeremiah 29:7 says, “And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”

Let’s pray for a revival in the hearts of those who have drifted from Jesus, and for those who have yet to meet him!

We are truly better together and if God is for us, who can be can be against us!

Sharing Hope Together.
